In 2002 we received funding to build a purpose built facility to expand our service to meet the local need. Our services include an after school and school holiday’s childcare facility, a full summer scheme programme, playgroup provision, a 3 year old programme, parent and toddler, range of services such as: training for local Early Years providers and our parents, a mental health awareness programme for young people, a weekly slimming and wellbeing club, homework club. Our extension was completed February 2015 providing a much needed community hub / space. We have doubled our available space which allows us to work in partnership with local residents and groups. We can now offer a wide range of new activities, programmes and services for all children, young people, elderly and families’ living in the area, ensuring the Rainbow Child and Family Centre becomes an utilised community hub / space. We are situated in the Shantallow west area which is within the top 10% most, deprived Super Output Areas in Northern Ireland. |
